Proceedings

Well, tomorrow is New Year's Eve. So far, every New Year's -- from watching Carrot Top on Jay Leno to watching someone shoot a tree with a paintball gun to sitting at home because I have to work early the next day -- has SUCKED. There are plans brewing, so in a change of pace, I will remain optimistic.

My first New Year's resolutions are always to have a better next New Year's. I hope to announce that next New Year's will be celebrated through the use of explosives and incendiaries. I know no reason why the gunpower treason should ever be forgot.

I'm slowly working on my lists for the year. Ugh.

Why is it that people can change so much in such a small amount of time? They can go from being good friends to what I would call 'barely acquaintances'. This happened to me recently. I met a nice person and we seemed to be hitting it off wonderfully. And not even two weeks later, things have changed completely. I don't understand it. From a warm shoulder to an icy cold one. Maybe it's karma, I don't know...

I still love this place. The freedom....is...overwhelming. The new car smell of my own little liberty is still fresh. However, it seems I now have neighbors in the other side of my duplex. I was awakened at 6am almost precisely to odd little dull rumblings from the other side. I hope this isn't what I will come to expect from now on. I've become addicted to the substance of silence that flows through the veins of my sleep.

Well, time to rub the rest of the night off with a nice little movie. And no, that wasn't meant to be sexual in nature.

Perv.
